The perfect couples’ getaway.

Located on the first floor and overlooking the gardens and valley beyond the enormous Barge Room provides everything one could need for a peaceful and relaxing break.

To be honest, it’s more of a suite than a room. As well as the Kingsize bed there a 2 large comfortable armchairs to sit back and relax in along with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy the continental breakfast that is brought up to your room every morning. The en-suite bathroom is equally generous in its proportions and provides a high quality, over bath shower. Towels are of course provided.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, there’s a large flatscreen TV with Freesat channels and free Wi-fi. In short, we think the Barge Room has everything one could need for that “get away from it all” break.

The Barge Room overlooks the extensive landscaped gardens which guests are more than welcome to explore and use as their own during their stay. Hours can be lost in the hammock that swings between the two apple trees on the lawn.

We serve a continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, granola, croissants and tea or coffee. It is brought to your room at anytime of your choosing between 7.30 and 9.30am.

Somewhere special.

From the moment we pulled on the drive you just knew this place was somewhere special. Excellent host and excellent accommodation. We were only there for the weekend but could have stayed a lot longer.

Best guest house ever!

Breese Barns has been beautifully restored and renovated. Spectacular views, stunning garden, immaculate and tasteful rooms, beautiful bathrooms and very comfortable beds. It has the wow factor. And a very lovely, friendly owner, Jo.”

A little place of perfection.

A little place of perfection is the simplest way to sum this up. Perfect for the ultimate relaxation. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming and friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable and i would highly recommend this for a weekend or a weeks get away. Very spacious and the locals are very friendly too. The scenery was breathtaking too. Will definitely be back again
